1) How old were you when you learned to knit?
I know I knitted in school, when I was about ten. But I have memories before then, of needles, white acrylic yarn and endless (it appeared) amounts of stitches...
2) Who taught you?
It must have been my mum. At least I know she taught me to purl, since I purl funny (Norwegian style).
